"O LORD, You Made Heaven and Earth" - 13 March AM and PM

Sunday morning:

O LORD, you made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; you keep truth forever and execute justice for the oppressed. You give food to the hungry and freedom to the prisoners; you open the eyes of the blind and raise those who are bowed down; you watch over the strangers and relieve the fatherless and widow.  It is to you we come!

O LORD, you made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; we pray for your whole Church on earth, including The Father’s House Church; Fountain of Faith; Frontline Church; Full Gospel Assembly; The Gathering; Heartland Community Church; Iglesia ni Cristo; and this congregation. Fill her with all truth, in all truth with all peace. Where she is corrupt, purify her; where she is in error, direct her; where in anything she is amiss, reform her. Where she is right, strengthen her; where she is in need, provide for her; where she is divided, reunite her; for the sake of Jesus Christ Your Son our Savior.  The LORD shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

O LORD, you made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; O God, from whom all good proceeds, grant unto us your children that by your enlightenment our minds may savor and dwell on what is true and good, and under your merciful protection, may do what is upright, and be filled with joyfulness, peace, and success. The LORD shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

O LORD, you made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; For ….., and others who are on our hearts…., we ask you to restore them body and soul in Jesus Christ, give them your relief and comfort, and grant them noteworthy reasons to take heart. The LORD shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

O LORD, you made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; We remember those in the military, fire department, sheriff’s department, and the local police department….give them protection from their enemies, wisdom in the difficult situations, and good leaders. The LORD shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

O LORD, you made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Take notice, O God, of the nations of the world. Tyranny, violence, slaughter, hunger, machinations and conspiracies abound. Give peace, O God, give peace in our time that all may dwell securely and successfully in their land and your Church be protected. The LORD shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

O LORD, you made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Hear us, O Lord, for our own beloved country. Rid our nation of unbelief and every godless custom; increase the number of those who are not ashamed to confess Christ with integrity of life and talk, who are not afraid to follow his way, that brotherly kindness and civility may abound, righteousness flow from our homes and down our streets like a mighty river. Thank you for the rains of this past week, and continue to send us what we need. The LORD shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

Sunday evening:

O our Father in heaven, we come near to you with all holy reverence and confidence, as children drawing close to a father who is able and ready to help us.

May your name be hallowed by us and all others so that we may glorify you in every way that you make yourself known. Arrange all things – all of our conduct, hardships, desires, marriages, singleness, occupations, as well as all the governmental and civil events of this world and our country – to your own glory. O Lord, hear our prayer.

May your kingdom come. We implore you to destroy Satan‘s kingdom, and advance your kingdom of grace, notably through the prayers and works of your world-wide Church, and specifically your church in Afghanistan; Albania; Algeria; Andorra; Angola; Antigua and Barbuda; Argentina; Armenia; Aruba; Australia; Austria; and Azerbaijan; may we all be brought into your kingdom of grace and firmly kept in it (and here Lord, we pray chiefly for those who have never turned in faith to Christ, or who have strayed away….), and may your kingdom of glory be hastened – Come, Lord Jesus! O Lord, hear our prayer.

May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven; that you, Lord God, by your grace, would make us (together with 1st Pres-Minco; Redeemer PCA-Edmond; City Pres and Christ the King-Norman) able and willing to know, obey and submit to your will in all things, even as the angels do in heaven. O Lord, hear our prayer.

Give us this day our daily bread; that of your free gift we (and those who are in various troubles and ailments….) may receive a competent portion of the good things of this life, and enjoy your blessing with them (including health, hope and deliverance). O Lord, hear our prayer.

Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; This, Lord, we are strongly encouraged to ask, because by your grace we are enabled from the heart to forgive others; therefore, remembering that we have wronged you far more than anyone has ever wronged us, help us to be quick and ready to forgive those who wrong us, and to be swift and set to ask forgiveness from those whom we have wronged…. O Lord, hear our prayer.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evilO God, please keep us from being tempted to sin, and when we are tempted, please support us and deliver us; since your grace has come and saved us and now training us “to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in the present age (Titus 2.11-12); and Father, beat down Satan under our feet. O Lord, hear our prayer.

Yours, O Lord, is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever.
