O God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth" - 19 July 2026

O God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, who has promised us that we have nothing to fear for you are with us, we have no reason to be dismayed for you are our God, who strengthens us, who helps us, who upholds us with your righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10): we pray for your Church throughout the nations, especially in Iran, along with Voice of Victory Church, Peoples Church (all campuses), Prayer of Faith and Victory Faith Center. Look upon the necessities of your churches and grant all good things essential for them to do the things you have called them to. Build them up in the most holy faith that has been once for all delivered to the saints, so that they may be able to stand strong against all the wiles of the devil.

Almighty and most merciful Father, look upon this congregation with your favor and support. Grant unto us—with all Your gifts—a heart to love you. Enable us to show our thankfulness for all your benefits by giving up ourselves unto your service, delighting in you, and in all things to do your blessed will. Restore our souls and bodies in Jesus Christ, and help us to be merciful and kind, even as you are. Let your forgiveness make us willing to forgive all wrong which we have suffered, and just as quick to ask forgiveness for every wrong which we have done.

We pray for those unstable people who twist the writings of Paul and the rest of Scripture to their own destruction: bring those systems, schemes and stratagems to no effect; and may they come to renounce their heretical ways and be brought to the Truth. And we call out to you for people in our lives who need to call on the name of the Lord, folks who have fallen away and those whose faith and trust have been betrayed or badly battered (…). Draw them close in your kind embrace, that they would turn away from iniquity and find their utmost pleasure in you.

Holy God, guide and direct the leaders of this country to promote and practice genuine justice while protecting our legitimate liberties. Please, oh please, bring about a speedy and righteous conclusion to this conflict in Iran. On the local, State and National level, shake out those who are Machiavellian and mercenary, and fill their offices with those who will work for economic robustness, but also ethical results. For the residents and citizens of this land, that we would be good stewards of our national virtues, freedoms and resources. And bring rain to the hot spots burning in our land, relief to the flooded, and recovery to the dry area.

We pray for those who use terror, trauma, bloodshed and banditry to gain power and coerce the weak – whether in their families, communities or territories (and we are especially praying with regard to Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard). May the wheels of their machinations become bogged down and clogged up until they become impotent and their wheels pop off; and may their hearts be turned by your gracious love found in Christ. And if they will not repent and turn, bring them crashing into a heaping pile, unable to harm the vulnerable anymore.

Finally, we intercede for those with poor health, scant monies, family frictions, anxious fears and fearful anxieties (…). May they be aided in their privations, assisted in their improvements, and abetted in their progresses. And now, in Jesus’ name and in the power of the Spirit we pray as he taught us, saying, Our Father…
